Ramky gets new order from Guwahati Municipal Corporation

Hyderabad: Ramky Enviro Engineers has been awarded Rs 102.15-crore ‘Integrated Solid Waste Management Project’ by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), Assam.

Under the terms of the deal, GMC will provide a 60-acre site for this project on nominal lease rent of Rs 1 a square metre a year.

According to a statement from Mr Gautam Reddy, Executive Director of Ramky Group, the project will be inaugurated by the Assam Chief Minister, Mr Tarun Gogoi.

The project is located at West Boragaon on NH 37 and involves door to door collection of waste, its transportation and treatment for a 20-year period.

Ramky Enviro Engineers, part of Ramky group, has orders worth over Rs 5, 500 crore under execution.
