Haryana: Government to set up new power plant in Yamunanagar, says Manohar Khattar.

In a bid to meet the growing demand of electricity in the state, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Khattar recently said that efforts are being made to set up a new power plant at Yamunanagar.

A meeting has already been held with the officers of Power department in this regard, an official statement said quoting him.

The state government has urged the Centre to allot a special coal block keeping in view the growing demand of coal for power generation, he said, according to the release.
