HAL Inks ₹1,173 Crore Deal with CSL for Indian Navy's NGMV Project

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has sealed a deal with Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) in Kochi for the provision of six sets of LM2500 gas turbines (GT) and GT Auxiliaries (GTAE), along with spares and tools required for the Indian Navy’s Next Generation Missile Vessel (NGMV) project.

Valued at ₹1,173.42 crore, the domestic contract is slated for execution between FY26 to FY29.

Following this development, HAL's stock saw an uptick of 1.83 per cent on the NSE, closing at ₹3,341 during Friday's trading session. Meanwhile, Cochin Shipyard's stock witnessed a marginal decline of 0.11 per cent, closing at ₹871.50 on the NSE.
