"GreenTech powers up with a ₹30 crore investment from Transition VC to expand its wind turbine O&M services."

GreenTech, a Coimbatore-based wind turbine operations and maintenance (O&M) company, has raised ₹30 crore in a funding round led by Transition VC.

Founder Daniel Raj told businessline that the funds will be deployed towards infrastructure development, including the company’s under-construction turbine repair facility in Coimbatore. Part of the capital will also be used to build inventory for newer turbine models and to support GreenTech’s entry into international markets.

GreenTech currently manages wind turbines with an aggregate capacity of around 500 MW. The company expects to add another 200 MW to its portfolio over the next 18 months, largely through expansion in overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and Europe.
