Govt to ammend model concession arrangement for road projects

The government is amending the model concession arrangement for road projects that will give more functional and supervisory powers to banks.

Currently the banks have no say in the selection of a concessionaire, in the event of suspension of a existing concessionaire or the company that was awarded the project.
