GMM Pfaudler's German Subsidiary Acquires 51% Stake to Establish Manufacturing Plant in Poland.

GMM Pfaudler Limited has announced that its German subsidiary, Pfaudler GmbH, has signed an agreement to acquire a 51% stake in a Polish limited liability company to establish a new manufacturing facility in Poland. The agreement was finalized on December 20, 2024.

The company will invest PLN 12.2 million (around ₹25.3 crore) in the project, funded through internal accruals. The Polish entity specializes in producing stainless-steel equipment for the pharmaceutical and food industries, bolstering GMM Pfaudler's product portfolio.

Thomas Kehl, CEO of International Business at GMM Pfaudler, emphasized that the acquisition is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its presence in the European market while offering cost-effective solutions to customers.

GMM Pfaudler, a global leader in corrosion-resistant technologies and systems, operates 20 manufacturing locations across four continents and employs over 2,000 people. The company primarily caters to chemical and pharmaceutical industries worldwide.

The new facility in Poland is expected to enhance GMM Pfaudler's manufacturing capabilities and solidify its competitive edge in Europe, reinforcing its position in the specialised industrial equipment sector.
