Global Hospitals plans Rs 1500 Cr expansion plans

Ahmedabad: Global Hospitals Group would invest nearly Rs 1,500 crore over the next five years to expand its footprint across all major cities in India and double the number of beds from the existing 2,000.

The Group, which currently runs nine modern healthcare facilities in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore, is all set to open a world-class hospital in Mumbai in April this year.

The Group will focus on its next ventures in Kolkata and New Delhi in the coming months.

Tier I & II cities

The Group would expand the hospital chain to Tier-I and II cities such as Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur and Visakhapatnam until 2015.
