Gigamon expands operations in Chennai with new office.
Gigamon, the US-based leader in deep observability, has inaugurated a 76,767 sq ft office in the new Olympia Cyber Space building in Chennai. This new facility is now the second largest Gigamon office outside the company’s Santa Clara headquarters.
The new office will act as a secondary headquarters to address the increasing global demand for its Deep Observability Pipeline solution, which provides network-derived intelligence to cloud, security, and observability tools. Designed to accommodate up to 1,000 employees, the new office will support various functions including engineering, sales, customer support, and HR.
Since establishing a small R&D-focused office in Chennai in 2015, Gigamon has significantly expanded its operations in the city. The Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline helps organizations eliminate security blind spots, optimize network traffic, and reduce tool costs, thereby enhancing the security and management of hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Shane Buckley, president and CEO of Gigamon, highlighted that with India being the fastest-growing economy in the G20, the new Chennai office positions the company to better serve the growing demand for its solutions in India, the broader APAC region, and globally.
Gigamon serves over 4,000 customers worldwide, including over 80 percent of Fortune 100 enterprises, nine of the ten largest mobile network providers, and numerous government and educational organizations.
