Dredging Corporation Shares Hit Upper Circuit After Securing ₹2,016 Crore Order

Shares of Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (DCIL) surged to the upper circuit following the announcement of a new work order worth ₹2,015.9 crore.

The company has secured a contract from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority (SMPA) for maintenance dredging in the Hooghly Estuary. This project will primarily focus on the shipping channel leading to Haldia Dock.

The contract spans a duration of five years, ensuring long-term engagement for DCIL in this significant infrastructure project.
