BHEL Secures Order from Adani Power Ltd

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured a significant order from Adani Power Ltd. (APL) for the establishment of a 2x800 MW thermal power plant (TPP) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The contract agreement, signed on June 5th, 2024, encompasses the supply of equipment, including boilers, turbines, and generators, as well as supervision of erection and commissioning for the 2x800 MW power project. This project will be based on Supercritical Technology and located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

BHEL's Trichy and Haridwar plants will be responsible for manufacturing the boilers and turbine generators, respectively.

With a value exceeding Rs. 3500 crore excluding GST, this order signifies a significant milestone for BHEL in the power sector.
