Cognizant ties up with Merck

Chennai: Cognizant Technology Solutions, a US-based provider of IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, has announced a multi-year, multi-million dollar engagement with Merck & Co for an undisclosed value. Cognizant, which has majority of its employees working in India, will extend its existing relationship with the pharmaceutical company to become a key technology partner and provide full range of services. This includes software application outsourcing, IT infrast ructure management and BPO services, according to a Cognizant press release.
