Bengaluru-based maternity care hospital chain Cloudnine will enter into preventive health management for women in a year. The hospital will invest in genetic profiling and other technology for women wellness.

The company has invested in Transmural Biotech, a Spanish company, for early screening of breast cancer.

In addition, the hospital will invest ₹400 crore to develop seven hospitals in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh by June 2018. An additional ₹150 crore will be spent on strengthening the Chennai market and expanding to newer markets such as Kochi, Visakhapatnam and Coimbatore.

Of the ₹350 crore turnover, mother and child care account for about 80 per cent and the rest comes from fertility and paediatric care.
