Climate Start-up Neiox Eco Cycle Secures ₹75 Lakh Prototyping Grant from Cochin Shipyard

Kerala-based deep-tech climate start-up Neiox Eco Cycle has received a ₹75 lakh prototyping grant from Cochin Shipyard Limited under the USHUS Maritime Innovation Scheme.

The grant cheque was presented at a function held at IIM-Kozhikode, where the start-up, founded by CEO Akhil Raj Pottekkat, signed the official agreement.

Neiox will use the funding to develop what it claims to be the world’s first sustainable, non-toxic, carbon-negative marine hull coating. The innovative material, made from captured air pollutants, offers anti-corrosive and anti-biofouling properties while addressing major environmental and health concerns.
