Aditya Birla Real Estate Eyes ₹1,700 Crore Revenue from First Housing Redevelopment Project.

Aditya Birla Real Estate (ABREL) is set to enter Mumbai’s housing redevelopment segment with a project expected to generate around ₹1,700 crore in revenue from free-saleable area.

In a regulatory filing, the company said its subsidiary, Birla Estates Pvt Ltd, has forayed into the redevelopment market with its first project in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The redevelopment will cover Anmol Co-operative Housing Society and Bhartiya Bhavan Co-operative Housing Society, both located in Khar West, one of Mumbai’s key western suburbs. The project marks a strategic step for the company as it expands its footprint in the competitive Mumbai redevelopment market.
