50MW plant at Ishwardi EPZ

Dhaka: A joint venture company of Australia and Bangladesh will install a 50MW power plant at Ishwardi Export Processing Zone.

An agreement was signed in Dhaka on Monday between the agencies concerned to set up the plant that is expected to come into operation by next 15 months, said a press release of BEPZA.

BEPZA member Prasantha Bhusan Barua and managing director of Monticore Technology Limited signed the agreement.
