Waaree Transpower Bags ₹160-Crore Battery Storage Order, Eyes Global Expansion.

Waaree Transpower Private Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd, has secured a ₹160-crore order from an unnamed global energy storage technology provider for the supply of 8.3 MVA Medium Voltage (MV) Skids for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications, the company said recently.

Shipments under the order began in July 2026, marking a significant export contract for the Mumbai-based electrical infrastructure company, formerly known as Kotsons Private Limited.

The MV Skid is a containerised, plug-and-play solution designed to IEC standards and housed in a 20-foot container. Its design enables stacking and shipping, helping streamline logistics for large-scale BESS deployments across multiple geographies.

The order strengthens Waaree Transpower's presence in the energy storage segment and supports its efforts to expand its footprint in international markets.
