Vibcare Healthcare's Latest Facility in Haryana Aims for Global Exports

Vibcare Healthcare has unveiled its state-of-the-art formulations or finished drugs manufacturing facility in Panchkula, Haryana, involving a significant investment of ₹40 crore. The company has strategically set its sights on global exports and is actively pursuing multiple regulatory approvals for the newly established plant.

Featuring four specialized production units dedicated to general tablets, liquids, capsules, and ointments, the facility boasts an impressive portfolio of over 500 approvals. With an annual production capacity of 1.1 billion tablets, 30 million oral syrups, 950 million capsules, and 40 million ointment tubes, the plant is a testament to Vibcare Healthcare's commitment to scale and efficiency. Currently, the facility employs approximately 120 skilled personnel, as confirmed by a company spokesperson.

Officially inaugurated in June, the plant has secured over 500 approvals from the Haryana Food and Drug Administration, primarily catering to the domestic market. The spokesperson clarified, "Additionally, our WHO GMP (World Health Organisation – Good Manufacturing Practices) certification is in progress, with an anticipated completion around January-February 2024."

Despite Vibcare Healthcare being a recently registered entity this year, its sister concern, Vibcare Pharma, has been operational since 2016, maintaining a steady monthly sales average of ₹4 crore. The manufacturing arm, Vibcare Healthcare, contributes about ₹2 crore to the monthly sales figure.

With aspirations to penetrate the European Union region, the facility adheres to EU-GMP guidelines. The company emphasized that obtaining EU-GMP certification is a comprehensive process, expected to conclude within the next two years, further solidifying Vibcare Healthcare's position in the international pharmaceutical landscape.
