Venjakob plans India facility.

Venjakob Maschinenbau, a German multinational manufacturer of lacquer coating machines, plans to set up its own factory in India in two-three years to aggressively tap the automotive, wood and steel industries in the country.

'We are very bullish on the Indian growth trajectory and with the steady demand for our products, we will set up our own factory in Pune within two-three years,' Christian Nüber, managing director at Venjakob Worldwide, told Financial Chronicle.

He said to start with, the privately-held company has launched a new wood finishing machine 'Venspray SMART II' for the Indian wood and furniture industry.

'This is the first entry-level machine that will be manufactured in India for the domestic market by a third party manufacturer in Pune,' Nuber said.
