Two overhead bridges planned on Islamabad Highway

Islamabad: A Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s Board meeting decided to construct two new overhead bridges between Faizabad and Khanna Bridge on Islamabad Highway.

According to a press statement, CDA Tariq Mehmood Khan chaired the meeting. The construction of these bridges will reduce number of road accidents and facilitate pedestrians.

The CDA Board meeting also decided on construction of six more footbridges on different avenues and highways to ensure smooth flow of traffic and overcome growing number of road accidents.

It decided that complaint cells for sanitation services would be set up in all sectors to address sanitary problems. The complaints cells will be set up in localities accessible to the residents.
