Traco Cable to expand house-wire cable biz.

Enthused by the impressive sales growth from its diversified house-wire cable segment, the State-owned Traco Cable Company Ltd. is eyeing a comfortable business from this section in the 2014-15 fiscal.

The company, which clocked Rs. 4 crore sales in 2013-14 from house-wire cables, is targeting Rs. 21 crore during the current fiscal.

Managing Director S Syamala says Traco Cable intends to recruit salespersons through employment exchanges for aggressive marketing campaign. A Thiruvananthapuram-based real estate company has also come forward to promote the product.
