ThyssenKrupp bags deals worth Rs. 1,000 cr.
German conglomerate ThyssenKrupp's Indian subsidiary said recently that the company has bagged engineering, procurement and construction deals worth Rs. 1,000 crore from three leading national and international business conglomerates for delivery and installation equipment of their mining & bulk material handling and boiler & power plant divisions.
One of the contracts won by ThyssenKrupp Industries India (TKII) is from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd's Kochi refinery to provide complete bulk material handling system for petcoke.
Another contract is for an unnamed Indian petrochemical company, which is setting up a coal/petcoke based captive power plant at its facility. For this, TKII will provide bulk material handling system for fuel and limestone on an engineering, procurement and construction basis.
The boiler package being supplied to a Thermal Power Project in Philippines comprises three 220 TPH coal-fired CFBC boilers along with auxiliaries like electro static precipitators (ESPs), fans, fuel feeding system, elevators, electrical & instrumentation packages on design, engineering & supply basis for a 3 x 55 MW thermal power plant at Balingasag, Mindanao, Philippines.
So far, TKII has commissioned over 50 CFBC boilers, while another 15 are under various stages of commissioning.
