Texmaco-RVNL JV Gears Up to Challenge Chinese Firms in Rail Projects.

A new joint venture between Texmaco Rail & Engineering and Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) is set to begin operations by December this year, with a strategic focus on competing with major Chinese firms in turnkey rail projects across international markets.The partnership aims to boost global competitiveness by leveraging Texmaco’s manufacturing expertise and RVNL’s project execution strength. The JV will target engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, depot operations, and international rail tenders.

A key area of focus for the JV will be green technologies, aligning with the global push for sustainable infrastructure. By expanding its footprint abroad, the venture also seeks to reinforce India’s position in the global rail sector while enhancing domestic capabilities.
