Tech Companies Flourish in Mangaluru Thanks to State's 'Beyond Bengaluru' Push.

Karnataka's 'Beyond Bengaluru' initiative is successfully helping tier-2 cities like Mangaluru attract and retain high-value tech investments, according to Darshan HV, the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada.

Speaking at a recent roundtable organized by Vertex Managed Workspace in Mangaluru, Darshan HV emphasized the crucial role of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in shaping the city's digital future. Drawing on his past experience in developing the state's GCC policy, he highlighted how these centers are key to creating jobs and fostering a robust tech ecosystem.

He also offered suggestions on how the city can further grow its tech sector, specifically mentioning the potential of the Animation, Visual, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) industries and sound technologies. His remarks underscore the government's commitment to decentralizing the state's tech growth beyond the capital.
