TCS Reports $1.5 Billion in Annualised AI Revenue, Plans Major Push in AI Transformation.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reported annualised revenue of $1.5 billion from artificial intelligence (AI) services after completing more than 5,500 AI-led projects since 2023, chief executive officer K Krithivasan said during an analyst call recently.

Highlighting the scale of client adoption, Krithivasan said 54 of TCS’s top 60 clients currently engage the company for AI-related work, while 85 per cent of clients with annual revenues exceeding $20 million leverage TCS for AI services. “AI-related services have garnered a total revenue of $1.5 billion annualised. Based on the success we’ve seen with customers, our quarter-on-quarter growth from AI alone has increased by 16.3 per cent,” he said.

Krithivasan was outlining the company’s five strategic pillars aimed at transforming TCS from a digitally led organisation into an AI-led enterprise. He also indicated that the company would step up investments and explore mergers and acquisitions to accelerate its AI transformation.

He added that the reimagination of services is driving growth across business lines, with new-age services contributing nearly $11 billion to TCS’s revenue and expanding at a pace faster than the company’s overall growth rate.
