"Suzlon Lands Order from Mahindra Susten for Project in Maharashtra"
Suzlon Group has clinched a significant order for the development of a 100.8 MW wind power project from Mahindra Susten Pvt Ltd, the clean-tech arm of the Mahindra Group. The project, located in Maharashtra, will involve the supply and installation of 48 wind turbines, each boasting a rated capacity of 2.1 MW.
For this venture, Suzlon has chosen its S120–140m turbines with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower design, a selection that aligns with the project's specifications and requirements. The comprehensive contract encompasses the supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines. Furthermore, Suzlon will assume responsibility for post-commissioning operation and maintenance services for the entirety of the project.
The generated electricity from this wind power initiative is earmarked for supply to Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers in Maharashtra.
