SJVN Ltd. announces financial closure for 1320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project.

SJVN Ltd. has announced that Financial Closure for 1320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project being implemented through its Subsidiary Company SJVN Thermal Private Limited was achieved on 26.11.2020.

The total debt tied up is Rs.8520.92 Crores amounting to the hundred per cent debt component of the project and will be funded equally by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Rural Electric Corporation (REC).

SJVN's present installed capacity is 2016.51 MW and projects of 5674 MW are under various stages of development. SJVN has presence in various sectors of energy generation which includes Hydro, Wind and Solar.
