Siemens Healthcare acquisition

Mumbai: Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics will be paying a final purchase price of Rs 45.10 crore for the acquisition of the Delhi-based Dade Behring Diagnostics India Pvt Ltd.

The company had earlier agreed to make the acquisition for Rs 43 crore based on the valuation of assets and liabilities of Dade Behring up to June 30, 2008. “The board of directors of the company (Siemens Healthcare) has also approved the supplemental valuation report of the Valuers for the valuation done of the assets and liabilities of DBDIPL for the period July 1 to July 31, 2008, based on which the final purchase price payable is Rs 45.10 crore,” the company said.
