Siemens Gamesa recently said it has signed a deal with Singapore-based Vena Energy to supply wind turbines to a 133-MW wind power project in Koppal District, Karnataka.

She added that with this project, the company’s total capacity in India would reach 1,162 MW.

According to the official press release, this new deal takes order entry for the Germany-based turbine manufacturer past the 1-GW mark in India.
