Shivam Pipes Wins ₹9.08 Crore Contract for Galvanized Steel Tubular Electric Poles.

Shivam Pipes, a 51% subsidiary of KD Green Industries Limited (earlier known as Manbro Industries Limited), has secured orders worth approximately ₹9.08 crore for the supply of galvanized steel tubular electric poles to electricity boards in India’s North Eastern region.

The company said the orders have been placed under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) and will be executed over a delivery period of one to four months. The contracts have been awarded through contractors engaged in power distribution projects for various utilities and government agencies.

Shivam Pipes, which is a BSE-listed entity through its parent company (Scrip Code: 512595), noted that it is already a registered vendor with multiple electricity utilities across North Eastern states under the RDSS framework. Its products are supplied under the brand name “Xtech”.

The latest order win strengthens the company’s presence in the region’s growing power infrastructure market, which is witnessing increased investment in transmission and distribution networks under government-led initiatives. The North East continues to attract focus due to its hydropower and renewable energy potential, alongside ongoing rural electrification and grid modernisation efforts.

In a statement, the company said its empanelment with key utilities positions it strongly for future growth, adding that sustained government emphasis on electrification is expected to keep demand for galvanized steel tubular poles robust in the coming years.
