Serentica Renewables Signs PPA with SECI for 600 MW FDRE Project.

Serentica Renewables recently announced that it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the supply of electricity from a 600 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project.

The renewable energy company emerged as the largest awardee in the SECI auction, securing the highest allocation among all bidders, according to a company statement.

Under the agreement, Serentica Renewables will supply power from a 600 MW (2,400 MWh) project awarded under SECI's FDRE VII Assured Peak tender. The signing of the PPA marks a key milestone towards the implementation of the project, the company said.

Serentica Renewables said the project will contribute to strengthening India's renewable energy capacity by providing reliable and dispatchable clean power to meet growing energy demand.
