RPP Infra ties up with global firms for joint development of large projects.

Chennai-based RPP Infra Projects Ltd. has entered into a joint cooperation agreement with China-based Hunan Construction Engineering Group Corporation and the UK's Delamore & Owl Group of Companies for funding and joint development of infrastructure projects across India and neighbouring countries.

'The three companies intend to work as joint venture partners to co-develop and fund projects across India and neighboring countries,' RPP Infra Projects said in a release.

RPP Infra Projects and Hunan Construction Engineering Group Corporation together will act as technical construction partner of the consortium, while Delamore & Owl Group will be the financial partner.

The release stated Hunan Group would be the lead technical construction partner dealing with the supply of equipment, design, engineering support besides delivering expertise for project execution; RPP Infra would take up tendering processes and key aspects like project expenditure, while Delamore & Owl Group would provide assistance in securing project financing acting as a co-sponsor.

RPP Infra Projects chairman and managing director Arul Sundaram said the joint collaboration would help them bid for large infrastructure projects.
