RPP Infra soars 10% on Rs. 63.7 cr orders in Tamil Nadu.

Investors are lapping up shares of RPP Infra Projects recently as the company has bagged new orders worth Rs. 63.7 crore in water distribution, eco restoration and building sectors in Tamil Nadu. The stock gained nearly 10 percent.

'Inspite of infrastructure companies are being faced with turbulent times, we believe this year is looking very good with winning many orders and few more in pipe line, we are very positive that the topline of the company will touch new heights,' Arul Sundaram, CMD said.

RPP Infra has received Rs. 38.18 crore worth of order for providing combined water supply scheme, Rs. 15.51 crore order for implementation of phase II eco restoration in 300 acre of Adayar Estuary and Creek in Chennai and Rs. 10 crore contract for construction of hostel block for Anna University in Thoothukudi.

With the winning of this project, its order book position has jumped to Rs. 700 crore.
