Repono Wins 20-Year Energy Storage Contract from Reliance in Uttar Pradesh.

Repono Ltd, an operations and maintenance and third-party logistics company serving the petroleum and petrochemical sector, has signed a long-term agreement with Reliance Industries for the development and operation of a greenfield petroleum storage terminal in western Uttar Pradesh.

Under the 20-year contract, Repono will undertake the complete lifecycle management of the large-scale, rail-fed terminal, which will store petrol, diesel and ethanol. The project marks a significant addition to the region’s fuel storage and distribution infrastructure.

The agreement covers the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase as well as the long-term operations and maintenance of the facility. Construction and development activities are set to begin immediately.

According to the company, the specialised greenfield asset is expected to become fully operational within 36 months, following the completion of the construction phase.

The project is expected to strengthen fuel supply chain infrastructure in western Uttar Pradesh while expanding Repono’s presence in the petroleum logistics and storage segment through a long-term partnership with Reliance Industries.
