Rane and ZF Collaborate to Launch Full Range of Electric Power Steering Solutions in India.

Rane Group and ZF Group have announced an expansion of their partnership through their joint venture, ZF Rane Automotive India Pvt Ltd, to introduce advanced electric power steering (EPS) solutions to the Indian market. The collaboration will bring state-of-the-art rack drive electric power steering system technologies, catering to evolving automotive demands.

“With this new phase of strategic partnership, ZF and Rane aim to offer a full range of advanced electric power steering systems to customers in India,” said Theodor Kaster, Head of Global Steering Product Line at ZF Group.

Additionally, Rane and ZF have signed a license agreement for column drive electric power steering system technology. This technology will be exclusively implemented by Rane Steering Systems Pvt Ltd in India, further broadening the company’s product offerings.

“Building on our history as a steering systems supplier, this collaboration reinforces our commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology tailored to customer needs. It positions us as a comprehensive steering systems supplier,” said Harish Lakshman, Chairman of Rane Group.

The partnership leverages a 35-year relationship between Rane and ZF, with a shared vision to lead the development of next-generation steering technologies for the Indian automotive market. This initiative aligns with India’s growing focus on electric and advanced mobility solutions.
