Rajesh Power Awarded ₹212 Crore Contract by Odisha Power Transmission Corporation.

Ahmedabad-based Rajesh Power Services Ltd (RPSL) has secured orders worth ₹211.68 crore from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (OPTCL), marking its entry into Odisha and one of its largest contract wins in the power transmission EPC segment.

The project entails the construction of a 220 kV underground transmission cable connecting the Grid Substation (GSS) at Mendhasal with the Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) at Chandaka B. The scope of work also includes extension of the AIS bay at Mendhasal and the GIS bay at Chandaka B.

The order significantly expands Rajesh Power's geographical footprint into eastern India, complementing its existing presence across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The contract underscores the company's growing capabilities in executing complex power transmission infrastructure projects.
