RailTel Secures ₹334.51 Crore Project.

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a purchase order from the Ministry of Railways for upgrading e-Office systems across Zonal Railways and Administrative Units (AUs) to version 7.x, along with the mandatory adoption of digital signatures (DSCs) and eSign functionality within the platform.

The estimated value of the order is ₹334.51 crore (excluding taxes), according to the company’s disclosure.

The project will focus on enhancing the digital governance infrastructure of Indian Railways by improving the efficiency, security and compliance of its e-Office system through the upgraded version and expanded use of electronic authentication tools.
