Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd Emerges L1 Bidder for ₹165.54 Crore Bridge Project from North Eastern Railway.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for the construction of the substructure of Important Bridge No. 50 over the river Gandak, between Paniyahwa and Valmikinagar stations on the North Eastern Railway. The project involves building 14 spans of 61 meters each with a Double D type well foundation designed for a double railway line, meeting the RDSO 25-ton axle loading standard. This work is part of the doubling project between Gorakhpur Cantt and Valmikinagar section.

The contract is valued at Rs. 165.54 crore (including GST) and is scheduled to be executed within 24 months. This award was made through a domestic tender process under Indian Railways' general contract conditions. RVNL's achievement further solidifies its role in advancing India's railway infrastructure through complex civil and structural projects.
