Punjab Gov allocates funds for link road

Attok: Punjab government has earmarked an amount of Rs 220 million for construction of link road between Attock and Rawalpindi and construction work on Sanjwal G.T Road Mela Chowk Road. This was stated by Muhammad Farakh, SDO Provincial Highway Department while talking to APP here on Thursday.

He said that with the construction of this link road, 12 kilometre distance would be reduced between these two cities. Muhammad Farakh said the work on phase-1 of the project has been started with funds worth Rs 8.35 million. 'This project would be completed within a period of 18 months,' he added.
