PRT in pact with Social Affairs Dep develops new projects

Kabul: Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) Herat recently completed an expansion of a local kindergarten, one in a series of four projects in support of the Afghan Social Affairs Department.

The Civil Military Affairs team, led by the Captain Mirko Radi, also constructed three professional centres apart from the expansion of the kindergarten. These projects will help widowed women, handicapped persons and abandoned children.

The centres will provide the opportunity for people to re-enter society and seize the opportunity to become literate and learn new work skills.
