Proposals to widen key junctions in Tripunithura.

Considering the burgeoning traffic in Tripunithura that gets reflected on Puthiya Road and the Karingachira traffic junctions at Irimpanam, there are proposals to widen both the prominent cross sections on the Seaport-Airport Road.

A decision in this regard was taken at a recent meeting chaired by Anoop Jacob, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies. Representatives of Tripunithura Municipality, Kerala Water Authority, Roads and Bridges Development Corporation, Kerala, National Highway, Public Works Department and Kochi Refinery participated in the meeting.
