PowerGrid to take up project in Bangladesh

New Delhi: Public sector electricity distribution firm, PowerGrid, will set up a transmission link in Bangladesh and will shortly, sign an agreement by next month for the proposed project.

On commissioning the transmission link, Bangladesh will exchange power from Indian grids in West Bengal and Tripura.
