Power Grid approves a transmission project in Tamil Nadu

Power Grid's board has approved an investment to the tune of Rs 182.80 crore for a project in Tamil Nadu.

The investment would be made for 'Common Transmission Scheme associated with ISGS Projects in Nagapattinam/Cuddalore area of Tamil Nadu - Part-A1 (a)'

The commissioning schedule for the project is 21 months from the date of investment approval.
