PNC Infratech Limited has achieved a significant milestone by being declared the L1 (Lowest) bidder for the "Construction of Western Bhopal Bypass as 4-lane with paved shoulders along with service road," a highway project in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The project, covering a design length of 40.90 km, is set to be executed on the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) and is under the purview of Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC).
The bid for the project, with a quoted cost of Rs. 1174.0 crore, was submitted by PNC Infratech and emerged as the lowest during the opening of price bids on December 18, 2023. The project entails the construction of a 4-lane bypass, including paved shoulders and service roads, starting from km 424.0 of Jabalpur-Bhopal Road (NH-46) and ending at km 21.0 of Bhopal-Dewas Road (SH-28). The execution of the project falls under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), highlighting PNC Infratech's continued success in securing projects through innovative financing models.
The timeline for the construction of the Bhopal Bypass Highway Project is set at 24 months, with an additional operational period of 15 years post-construction. This strategic win further solidifies PNC Infratech's position as a key player in the infrastructure and highway development sector.
