PM Modi to Unveil 23 Projects Valued at ₹6,000 Crore in Kashi on October 20.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 23 projects worth ₹6,611.18 crore during his visit to Kashi on October 20. The projects include the inauguration of ready airports in Rewa (Madhya Pradesh), Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh), and Sarsawa (Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh), as well as the laying of the foundation for expansions at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Kashi, along with new terminals at Bagdogra (West Bengal), Darbhanga (Bihar), and Agra airports.

According to Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma, the expansion of LBSI Airport, including its new terminal and associated works, is estimated to cost ₹2,870 crore. The New Civil Enclave at Bagdogra Airport will require ₹1,550 crore, while the new civil enclaves at Darbhanga and Agra airports are projected to cost ₹912 crore and ₹579 crore, respectively.

In addition to the airport projects, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation for an academic block and girls' hostel at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Arajiline, with a budget of ₹4.17 crore.

The inauguration list includes:

• Rewa Airport's new terminal, valued at ₹91 crore


• Maa Mahamaya Airport in Ambikapur, costing ₹80.32 crore


• New Civil Enclave at Sarsawa Airport, estimated at ₹54.56 crore

For his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi, Modi will inaugurate 14 projects worth ₹380.13 crore. Key projects include the redevelopment of the Varanasi Sports Complex in Sigra for ₹216.29 crore and pro-poor tourism development work at Sarnath for ₹90.20 crore. Additional projects range from hostels and public pavilions to park beautifications and advanced lab setups.

Moreover, a private project for the construction of RJ Shankara Eye Hospital, valued at ₹90 crore, will also be inaugurated during the visit.
