PM Modi to Inaugurate Multiple Development Projects in Arunachal and Tripura.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura, where he will lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth more than ₹5,100 crore in Itanagar, the state capital of Arunachal Pradesh. According to an official statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, he will also address a public gathering during his visit.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the Prime Minister will focus on harnessing the region’s vast hydroelectric potential by laying the foundation stone for two major hydropower projects valued at over ₹3,700 crore. These include the Heo Hydro Electric Project (240 MW) and the Tato-I Hydro Electric Project (186 MW), both situated in the Siyom sub-basin. The initiatives aim to boost sustainable energy generation in the northeastern region.

Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate the construction of a new Convention Centre in Tawang, located at an altitude of over 9,820 feet. The centre is envisioned as a landmark venue for hosting national and international conferences, cultural festivals, and exhibitions, further promoting the region’s strategic and cultural significance.

Following his engagements in Arunachal Pradesh, the Prime Minister will travel to Tripura to perform Pooja and Darshan at the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Complex in Matabari. He will also inaugurate the development work of the temple complex, a significant religious and cultural site in the state.

These projects reflect the government’s commitment to fostering infrastructure development, renewable energy, and cultural heritage preservation in India’s northeastern states.
