PM Modi to Inaugurate ₹46,300 Crore Worth of Projects in Rajasthan on December 17.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Rajasthan on December 17 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth ₹46,300 crore in Jaipur. During his visit, PM Modi will participate in the 'Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh' program, marking one year of the Rajasthan government’s initiatives. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation for 24 projects across various sectors, including energy, road, railways, and water.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate nine projects valued at over ₹11,000 crore, including seven Central government projects and two state government projects. Additionally, he will lay the foundation for 15 projects worth more than ₹35,300 crore, with nine of them being Central government initiatives and six state-led projects.

Key projects being inaugurated include the Navnera Barrage, Smart Electricity Transmission Network, and Railway Electrification of the Bhildi-Samdari-Luni-Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana-Ratangarh section. The event will also highlight the Package 12 of the Delhi-Vadodara Green Field Alignment (NH-148N) and a major bridge over the Mej River.

These projects aim to enhance infrastructure, improve energy supply, and provide easier commutes, aligning with PM Modi's vision of promoting green energy in the state.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation for major water projects, including the construction of the Ramgarh and Mahalpur Barrages, and a water transfer system from Navnera Barrage to Bisalpur Dam and Isarda Dam at a cost of ₹9,400 crore. Further, the foundation stone will be laid for rooftop solar installations on government buildings, as well as solar parks in Poogal (Bikaner) with a combined capacity of 3,000 MW.

The visit will also include the laying of the foundation for critical railway projects, such as the Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Double Line, Ajmer-Chanderiya Double Line, and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur Double Line, alongside several energy transmission projects aimed at bolstering Rajasthan’s infrastructure and sustainable energy capacity.
