Patel Engineering Consortium Wins Maharashtra Government Project Worth Rs. 317.60 Crore.

The Office of the Executive Engineer, Government of Maharashtra, has awarded Patel Engineering Ltd (PEL) and its joint venture (JV) partner a Rs 317.60 crore contract. The project involves the construction of water lifting arrangements for the first stage of the Jigaon project, including civil, mechanical, and electrical works.

The scope of the contract encompasses the construction of water lifting infrastructure, including approach channels, rising mains, pumping machinery, and switchyards. The project, which is set to be completed within 24 months, will be executed as a joint venture, with PEL holding a 35% share.

This major infrastructure project aims to enhance water management capabilities in the state of Maharashtra and includes all related civil, mechanical, and electrical components.
