Orders for L&T Construction.

In the current month the power transmission and distribution business of L&T Construction, has won orders worth Rs. 802 crore in the domestic and international markets, a press statement issued by the company said. Rural electrification projects under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana have been bagged in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Additional orders have also been received for the solar business. In the international market, an order has been bagged from a private developer for engineering, procurement and construction of a 132/11kV substation in West Asia, the statement added.
