Oman firm to use IBS solution suite

Thiruvananthapuram: IT solutions provider, IBS Software, has inked a contract with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for using its iLogistics solution suite in automating and managing the movement of people to and from offshore oil rigs with the Oman firm.

The automation system will cover movement of people over air, land and sea as well as optimum utilisation of the transportation fleet.

The tie-up will enable PDO gain access to new generation technology and latest best practice processes in establishing safe and cost effective logistics.

The solution is used by many oil majors and has been implemented in 12 locations worldwide.
