"Oil India Ltd and The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd Forge Partnership in Green Hydrogen Sector"

Oil India Limited (OIL) and The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) sealed a collaborative agreement on February 22, 2024, at OIL's Corporate Office in Noida. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to explore opportunities in the realm of Green Hydrogen, including Green Ammonia/Green Methanol, and other derivatives.

The partnership also extends to initiatives for decarbonization, such as carbon dioxide sequestration, and endeavors in clean energy transition, green fuels, and renewable energy. The agreement signifies a mutual commitment to identifying synergies between the two entities and advancing common business interests in sustainable energy ventures.

The MoU signing ceremony witnessed the participation of key figures including Shri Santanu Kumar Saikia, General Manager (Business Development) representing OIL, and Shri R Manikkuttan, Executive Director (Production Coordination) representing FACT. The event was attended by the CMD, Directors of OIL, Director (Finance) of FACT, and other senior officials from both organizations.
